The news came during Disney’s TV upfront presentation, where Rosario Dawson herself confirmed that the next season of Ahsoka will arrive on Disney+. She also introduced a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes, with creator Dave Filoni and members of the cast discussing what fans can expect.

And according to Dawson, “the battles are bigger and the stakes are higher.”

Which is lovely.

Because apparently the first season ending with Ahsoka and Sabine stranded in another galaxy while Grand Admiral Thrawn returned to the main Star Wars galaxy was not stressful enough. No, no. That was just Tuesday.

The biggest takeaway is simple: Ahsoka Season 2 now has an official release window.

Early 2027.

Hera is about to have a very bad time trying to convince the New Republic that the blue genius is, in fact, a problem.

This is not filler.

This is the next major chapter in the post-Return of the Jedi Star Wars timeline.

The wait will be painful, yes. But if Filoni and the team deliver on the promise of bigger battles, higher stakes, and all-out war, then early 2027 might be worth the suffering.
